Wild Wadi Water Park Dubai: A Sinbad-Inspired Adventure for All Ages

The area of Wild Wadi Water Park is about 5 hectares, which does not make it the largest in Dubai or even in the UAE. But this water park has a lot of other advantages, including a good location, state-of-the-art attractions and luxurious design. Once here, you will find yourself in a country created based on the Arabic fairy tales about the legendary sailor Sinbad, and get a chance to relax from the hot and noisy city or plunge into extreme adventures. Reliable simulations of storms and hurricanes, raft rides and multi-meter slides, from which you descend at speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour, will not let you get bored.

The name of the Wild Wadi water Park is due to dry riverbeds, along which water flows rush rapidly after heavy downpours. The characteristic landscapes of the “wadi” are reflected in the design of the amusement park – there are stormy rivers, a desert plain, winding paths, a calm lagoon, and an amazing oasis. But the main thing is that Wild Wadi has the highest safety standards (each structure is regularly checked and undergoes periodic reconstruction), a large staff of professional rescuers who never leave their post, and an ultra-modern water treatment system.

Entertainment on the territory of the water park

According to legend, the ship of Sinbad and his crew, plowing the Arabian Sea, during a terrible storm washed up on an unknown coast. By some miracle, none of the travelers and their families were injured. In the morning, the elements calmed down, and people who came to their senses saw a beautiful oasis with majestic palm trees, rocks down which stormy streams of water descend, crystal clear rivers and lakes. The children immediately rushed to play and swim in the waterfalls with joyful squeals. Adults hurried to join them – they say that this is how the Wild Wadi water park appeared.

Wild Wadi Card

There is indeed entertainment for children and adults, but some attractions are not allowed for children and adults who are less than 1.1 m tall. On the territory of almost thirty water slides up to 128 meters long and more than twenty pools, and the special pride of the Wild Wadi and the whole of Dubai is an eighteen-meter waterfall. The water temperature in the aquapark is maintained at +28 °C all year round.

Among all the activities offered by the Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai, the most exciting are::

Jumeirah Sceirah Slide
Jumeirah Sceirah
  1. Jumeirah Sceirah. The descent with a height of more than 30 meters is one of the most risky in the world. Hot pepper sensations are given by an unusual launch technology – a brave visitor is placed in a capsule with an opening hatch, into which he will fall, going to meet new impressions. While driving through the 120-meter tunnel, you will develop a speed of up to 80 km / h and experience the feeling of free fall. Don’t try to shoot this descent with a GoPro camera – it’s better to focus on keeping your arms and legs crossed.
  2. Master Blaster. This is a complex of eight slides that can be overcome on one-and two-person inflatable tubing. Starting from one of the slides, you can continue moving along the rest, then flying up with the help of a strong stream of water, then going down. There are only a few such attractions in the world – this is the exclusivity of Master Blaster and the reason for the long queues of those who want to conquer it.
  3. Burj Surj и Tantrum Alley. Similar slides with wide gutters, which are slid down on volumetric tubing designed for 4-5 people. If Burj Surj is all about fun, Tantrum Alley is designed for those with nerves of steel. First, a slow start, then a climb up the slope, a sharp fall ,a “flight” to the other side of the slide and the feeling that you are about to be carried out of the chute directly onto the road (of course, this will not happen).
  4. Wipeout and Riptide Flowriders. Wave pools are a real paradise for those who want to learn how to surf and bodyboard or improve their existing skills. Experienced instructors will demonstrate the basic techniques and help you master them. All necessary equipment will be provided on the spot for free.
  5. Flood River. Rafting on a stormy river and meeting waves of one meter height will give you unforgettable emotions.

If you are not a kamikaze and do not want to test your strength on a roller coaster, the Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai will offer more measured recreation options. Choose from the Family Ride slide, an inflatable raft, or the Breaker’s Bay pool. Another option is to explore all kinds of entertainment from the side, moving along the long and slow Juna’s Journey River.

For children, the safest activities are provided: ride the Lazy River around Wild Wadi Dubai, spend a few hours in Juha’s Dhow Lagoon, master the numerous swings and slides, and explore the fabulous Sinbad ship turned on its side, or get caught in a tropical downpour. Part of the children’s area is protected by an awning, which is very prudent, given the scorching sun of the United Arab Emirates.

On a note! The water park has attractions designed for pregnant women and people with disabilities. Do not forget to study the information on the boards installed in front of each slide. In addition, there are many people among the staff who will be happy to answer your questions in Russian.

The Wady Cabanas

Cafes and restaurants

Guests can enjoy a meal at Julshan's Burgers
Julshan’s Burgers

Active pastime in the fresh air and constant contact with water provoke a brutal appetite. But don’t worry – you won’t stay hungry, as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes with Arabic and European cuisine, bars and fast food shops. The most visited of them are Juha’s Family Kitchen and Julshan’s Burgers, where the menu is based on juicy burgers, delicious fried chicken, French fries adored by children and fresh vegetable salads. Fans of Italian cuisine should check out Riptide Pizza, barbecue lovers-in Smoke House, sweet tooth-in Leila’s Fruits.

As in all other water parks in the world, food prices are inflated. It will cost one person 90-130 AED to satisfy their hunger. In any of the public catering establishments, you can book a table or the entire hall for celebrations in honor of significant dates. Please note that alcohol is not sold at Wild Wadi.
