Beaches
City Beach

All the beaches of Vourvourou are very beautiful. The main recreation area stretches along the entire settlement. The bay is securely hidden by islands, which is why the water in Vourvourou is warm and there are no waves. The surface is sandy, very rarely a small stone is felt under the foot. If you are vacationing in Halkidiki with a family with small children, choose Vourvourou beach.
Karidi

It stands out for its special natural beauty-a cozy bay with a completely sandy beach and clear turquoise water. There are almost always a lot of tourists here. Pine trees grow here, the sand is fine, light gray in color. The entrance to the water is smooth, the waves are small — an excellent place for families with small children. There are 2 kiosks nearby where you can enjoy hot dogs and refreshing drinks. There are no sun beds, showers, or toilets on Karidi — take these facts into account if you want to spend the whole day on the beach.
The distance from the center of Vourvourou is about 1.5 km-you can walk. If you decide to go by car, keep in mind that you will only be able to park without any problems in the early morning or in the evening.
Bahia Beach

It is located in a bay 2.3 km east of Vourvourou. There is the necessary infrastructure — a bar with music and wi-fi, sun beds with umbrellas. The beach is covered with small pebbles, the water (like vezede in Sithonia) is clean, the entrance to the water is gentle. The disadvantage may be a large number of vacationers in high season, respectively, will have to make room. There are also sea urchins — it is better to put on special shoes.
Fava Beach

In the village of Karidi, not far from Vourvourou, there is another beach — Fava. The place is picturesque-it is located in the middle of the forest, and there are big stones on the edges of the bay. The beach is covered with sand, there is a rather sharp descent into the water, waves are often present, and there is no natural shadow geographically. You can get here by going down the stairs. When going to Fava Beach, take food and water with you — there is no place to buy food on the spot.
Banana Beach

It is 12 km from Vourvourou and can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The last section of road is a dirt road. On the beach with a length of 200 m there is a bar (Rodia Beach Bar), music is playing, there are sun beds (20 euros apiece). Covering — small pebbles with sand, gentle descent to the depth.
