This coastal gem is the perfect place for a summer vacation without crowds of tourists.
More and more tourists are looking for quieter and less crowded cities and towns where they can enjoy the best vacations in their favorite countries.
Spain is a popular destination for vacationers, but not all of its gems have been discovered by mass tourism. One of these gems is the Costa Blanca, which offers a perfect blend of Spanish traditions and natural beauty, according to Express.
This is Denia, a coastal city in the east of Spain, and unlike other resorts, it is not overcrowded with tourists.
This stunning city has a lot to offer tourists, with beautiful sandy beaches along its 20-kilometer coastline in the northern part and steep cliffs in the southern part.
Les Deveses Beach is the widest in the city, and it is also the furthest from the city center, making it perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. It is also one of the most popular beaches, with a 4.1 rating on TripAdvisor.
“This beach is the most beautiful, the sand reminds me of a Caribbean island, it’s so white and soft. It’s a fantastic place for a “beach walk,” and at the end of the walk, you can have lunch, coffee, or a beer in Los Baños, and the view is absolutely stunning,” shared one visitor on a travel website.
Another wrote: “A long beach, free, with white sand and clear water. Fortunately, there are no seaweed, unlike the others. For me, this is the best beach near Denia.”
The publication noted that the city also has exciting attractions, including the 18th-century Church of the Assumption and the City Hall, which boasts two memorial plaques from the ancient temple of the Roman goddess Diana.
The historic center of Denia and the Old Town reflect a remarkable ancient history and are home to a charming main street lined with clothing stores, cafes, and small pastry shops.
