The beaches of Tel Aviv are clean sand, clear water and lots of sun. Every year, more than 4,000,000 tourists come to Israel, who call the beaches of Tel Aviv among the best in the world. And there is an explanation for this.
Features of a beach holiday on the sea coast in Tel Aviv

The Tel Aviv swimming season starts in May and ends in September and October. The water temperature in late spring and early autumn does not fall below +25 °C. Swimming is very comfortable and absolutely safe. During the summer months, it is quite hot (the water temperature is +28°C), so those who do not like the heat, it is better to visit Israel at a different time of the year.
Tel Aviv has some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean Sea. The advantages of these places include the complete absence of garbage, clean toilets and comfortable showers. Beach umbrellas and gazebos will definitely be enough for everyone.
Another very important point: all beaches are adapted for people with disabilities, and everyone will be able to access the sea.
The 10 km long coastline is divided into many zones. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the sand is fine, and the beaches are very wide and seemingly endless. Reviews of travelers who visited Tel Aviv are positive: they note that the beaches are also perfectly clean.

The choice of beaches is really wide: you can go both to the quiet and deserted ones located on the outskirts of the city, and visit the best entertainment events on the youth beaches in the central part of the coast. For surfers and dog breeders, separate areas of the coastline are provided.
In many parts of the sandy beach, you can not only sunbathe and swim, but also do sports: there are many equipped playgrounds, exercise equipment and even a swimming pool-all this on the youth beaches of Tel Aviv. All beaches are served by local food delivery companies, as well as cafes, restaurants and shops. Their prices are quite high.

Admission to all Tel Aviv beaches is free (with the exception of the elite HaTzuk Beach). Rescuers work everywhere (from 07: 00 to 19: 00).
Beaches
If you look at the map of Tel Aviv, you can see that the beaches go one by one and they are divided very conditionally. In the southern part of the coastline are the beaches of Ajami, Alma, Banana. In the central part – Jerusalem, Bograshov, Frishman, Gordon, Metzizim and Hilton. North of the coast are HaTzuk and Tel Baruh beaches.
HaTzuk Beach
HaTzuk is the only paid beach in the city. True, it is paid only for tourists, but local residents, having shown a residence permit, can visit it for free. The entrance fee is NIS 10.

HaTzuk is not without reason called the most elite beach in Tel Aviv: it is located in the northern part of the city, not far from the most expensive quarter of Ramat Aviv Gimel. You can’t get here on foot from the center or by bike – you can only get there by car. Well-off people rest here: theater and film stars, singers, businessmen and programmers.
There are no problems with the infrastructure: there are many showers, toilets, umbrellas and sun beds. There is free parking, a Turkiz restaurant and a small shop with all the necessary goods.
Mezitzim Beach
Metzizim is located near the Port of Tel Aviv, near Nordau Boulevard. It is divided into 2 parts – southern and northern. Locals of different ages come to the northern part of the beach to relax, but there are practically no tourists. There are always a lot of people here, and on weekends it gets very crowded.

The southern part of Metzizim is reserved for religious people, so it is fenced off. On Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, only girls and women can come here to relax, and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday – men.
This is one of the most well-equipped beaches. There are plenty of umbrellas, sun beds, and cafes with shops here. There is even a farmers ‘ market and a large parking lot nearby.
Hilton (Hilton Beach)
The Hilton is located between Gordon Beach and religious Beach, which is fenced off from the rest by a wooden fence. Vacationers conditionally divide the Hilton into 3 parts. South – for surfers (there are not many people here), central-for gays (crowded) and north-for dog breeders (during the day there is almost no one here, but in the evening this part of the beach comes to life).

The majority of cafes and restaurants are located in the central part of the Hilton. There are also sun beds and toilets. There are no such facilities in the southern and northern parts, because only surfers and dog breeders spend their time here. By the way, in the southern part of Hilton Beach, you can rent a surfboard and enroll in a surf school.
Gordon Beach
Gordon Beach proudly bears the title of the most sporty beach in Tel Aviv. It starts at the intersection of Gordon and HyArkon Streets and ends at the big Bay. On the beach itself, a huge Gordon sports hall has been built with a large swimming pool (entrance fee) and a gym. Free of charge, vacationers can play volleyball and matkot (something like table tennis) on specially equipped sports grounds.

People of all ages come to Gordon Beach, and it’s never empty. On the beach there are sun beds, umbrellas, 2 small shops and several cafes. Showers and toilets are provided.
Frishman Beach
Frishman is located near the street of the same name, in the heart of Tel Aviv. This beach is considered a youth beach, so tourists often come here. Both on weekdays and weekends, it is quite crowded here. There is always music playing on the Frischmann, and in the evening there are often themed parties and amateur sports competitions.

The infrastructure of Frishman Beach in Tel Aviv is well developed: there are many inexpensive cafes, bars with cooling drinks and everything you need for relaxation (toilets, showers and large wooden gazebos).
Bograshov Beach
You can get to Bograshov, which is located in the western part of Tel Aviv, by turning off the street of the same name and walking 5-10 minutes in the direction of the sea. This place is very popular with young people, and 90% of vacationers are young people and girls aged 16 to 30 years. Also, this place is very popular with French tourists, so it was even given the unspoken name “tsarfatim“, which translates as”French beach”.

Everything is in perfect order with the infrastructure on Bograshov beach: there are dozens of inexpensive cafes and cozy restaurants, bars with cooling drinks and American eateries. Also on the beach there are umbrellas, sun beds, benches for relaxation and gazebos in which you can hide from the sun’s rays.
Tel-Baruh beach

Tel-Baruh beach is located away from the famous hotels and expensive restaurants of Tel Aviv. It is located on the outskirts of the city, and this place is very much loved by locals, who usually relax here. There are very few people on weekdays. The main feature of the beach is that it is open only in the summer months.
Near Tel Baruch there is paid parking, several cafes and a small shop. A water bike rental service is available nearby.
Banana Beach
Banana Beach is a beach for relaxing and relaxing holidays with your family. Here, as a rule, 30-year-olds and 40-year-olds of Tel Aviv and tourists with their children rest. The most popular activities here are matkot and beach soccer. You can also often see the following picture: a group of people sitting in a circle and reading a book or playing a board game.

The highlight of Banana Beach is movie screenings in the evenings in the cafe of the same name. The big screen shows both sports competitions and the best Hollywood movies. There are no problems with the infrastructure: there are sun beds, showers, toilets and several shops. Tourists recommend coming here in the evening, in order to enjoy the atmosphere of this place.
Jerusalem Beach
Jerusalem Beach is another good option for a quiet family vacation. Despite the proximity to the center of Tel Aviv, here everyone can find a secluded place and relax. On weekends, it can be crowded, but on weekdays there is almost no one.

There is a fish restaurant and 2 small cafes on site. There is also a large children’s playground and a place for sports. There is everything you need to relax: sun beds, toilets, showers and gazebos.
Alma Beach
Alma is a good option for those who do not like crowded and “polished” beaches. There are no sun beds, cafes, shops, or toilets. Only the sea and scenic views. In this place, representatives of the liberal professions especially like to relax: freelancers, artists and just creative people. There are almost no tourists. Here you can come with pets and even fry kebabs. This is a great place to retire and enjoy peace and quiet without leaving the city.

The beach is located in the southern part of the coastline, close to the city center. Its length is about 1 km. Alma Beach begins near Old Jaffa, and ends near the dolphinarium, which, however, has long since turned into ruins.
Ajami Beach
Ajami or Jaffa Beach is the farthest from the city center, so there are not many people here (especially tourists). However, this place is still worth a visit: it is located on the territory of one of the most ancient and picturesque areas of the city (photos of Old Tel Aviv from the beach will definitely turn out interesting). The symbol of Ajami is the stone arches that are located above the coastline, and the building of the Shimon Peres Peace Center (the ninth President of Israel), built of environmentally friendly materials.

On the beach you can fry kebabs, and sometimes you can see horses, which often walk here. On the beach there are a number of new snow-white cafes and restaurants, where prices are quite high. The nearest shop is a 5-10-minute walk away. The beach has sun beds, umbrellas and toilets. Parking is paid.
The beaches of Tel Aviv are a great place for both family and youth holidays! Here everyone will find something to do or can lie down lazily under an umbrella.
