If you are vacationing in Bacvice, you can easily reach Trstenik via the pedestrian path. Even further away is the territory of the Radisson Hotel. You can relax here for free, using the necessary infrastructure-sun beds, a shower, a snack in a cafe. The territory of the hotel smoothly turns into the longest beach of the resort – Zhnyan, a great place for a family holiday. There are many attractions for children and adults, there are sports grounds, trampolines and slides. Comfortable pebble beaches also include Kastelet, and Jesinac has green spaces that provide a pleasant shade on the shore.

Useful to know! The cost of sun beds is 40 kuna, with an umbrella-50 kuna. You can rent two sun beds under one umbrella, it will cost 100 kuna.

Baczwice

Bačvice Beach

This place in Croatia leaves mixed impressions. Among the obvious advantages-part of the beach has a sandy surface, comfortable sun beds, umbrellas, cafes. A good place for families with children – the entrance to the water is gentle, the bottom is rocky, a small depth is safe for kids. However, the picture is spoiled by the amount of garbage.

In another part of the beach, you can sit on concrete slabs, there are also sun loungers. Access to the water is possible via ladders attached to concrete platforms. The water here is not muddy due to the lack of sand.

Another special feature is that the beach is located just ten minutes from the historical center of Split. On the shore you can engage in various water sports, there are cafes, tents where they do massage, points of sale of excursions. With the onset of the evening, life here becomes more active – night bars, discos are opened, festivals are held.

Ovcice

The beach is an extension of the city area of Bacvice in Croatia, you need to walk a little to the east. This area was allocated as a separate beach area due to fundamental differences. There is a pebbly surface here. According to vacationers, it is good to come here on a hot day. On the shore there is a bar serving a variety of refreshing drinks, the greenery protects from the heat.

Ovcice Beach

The entrance to the water is gentle, convenient for children. Unlike Baczwice, it’s quieter and quieter, with no loud music. On the Sheep house there are changing cabins installed, there is a shower. The beach is located a quarter of an hour walk from the city center.

Trstenik (Plaža Trstenik)

Recreation area, which is 2 km from Baczwice. The surface is pebbly, so you will definitely need slippers. On the beach there is a developed infrastructure-cafes and bars, sun beds and umbrellas, booths where you can change clothes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp — deep already 3 meters from the shore.

There are relatively few people on the beach, which will be an advantage for many. People also come here to go kayaking and yachting.

Trstenik Beach

You can get to this place in Croatia by city bus or car. The city center is only 5 minutes ‘ drive away.

Useful to know! Sea urchins live in the water near the shore, so it is better to swim in shoes.

Castelet

The recreation area forms a small bay, which is located to the west of Bačvice beach. Rest is favorable for families with adult children – the depth starts after 4 meters, the water is clear, warms up quickly. There are several large trees near the shore, and you can sit in their shade. Kaštelet Beach is clean except for cigarette butts.

Nearby there is a Parking lot, cafes and restaurants. One of the most popular places where you can enjoy Croatian cuisine is the restaurant of the same name.

The beach is secluded, conditionally divided into four parts. Diocletian’s Palace can be reached on foot if you like walking. If you don’t want to waste time walking, take a bus or rent a bike. The first part of the beach is rocky and rocky. In the second part, a children’s playground and a diving platform are organized. Then there is a pebbly beach, where bars and cafes can be found.

You can get to the beach by bus, the road by car takes only ten minutes. Entrance to the territory is free and free. But there are no problems with showers and changing places.

It is important! As tourists note, sun beds and umbrellas are not always enough, especially during the influx of tourists.

Kašjuni Beach in Split

The beach is located on the territory of the Maryan Park, in its south-western part, so many tourists combine an excursion and rest on the seashore. You can get there by city bus number 12 or by car. If you plan to travel by private transport, please note that cars are not allowed to enter the park. The road from the center of Split takes a quarter of an hour. You can get to Kashuni by water – a boat trip takes about half an hour. The cost of a boat trip is 40 kuna. Water transport departs from the city port every hour.

In addition to a comfortable beach holiday, you can go rock climbing and diving. On Kashuni in Croatia, you can find rocks of different heights – from 2 to 10 meters, which are easy to climb without special equipment, and jump into the water without risking your health. The cliffs are centered on a wild, undeveloped part of the beach. Joes Bar is located on the beach.

Bene

Excellent beach surrounded by pine trees, located at the foot of a hill in Marjan Park. Distinctive features:

  • you can get there by bus, which departs from Republic Square every half hour;
  • the beach is far from the historical center of the city, there are not so many tourists here;
  • pine trees grow on the shore, so there is no need for umbrellas;
  • for greater comfort, it is better to use slippers;
  • on the shore there are toilets, changing places and showers;
  • you can have a snack in the cafe.

If you take a bus from the city center, you will pass Kashuni Beach. For private transport, there is a parking lot at the north gate. The shore is quite rocky, covered with pebbles, and concrete slabs are installed for launching into the water. If you walk along the shore, you can find sandy areas.

Useful to know! For sports activities, there are tennis courts and even a football field. You can ride a pony. Next to the beach is the National Theater, a railway line is laid here.

Split County beaches

After relaxing on the main city beaches of Split in Croatia, you can go to the nearby islands surrounding the resort. Most of them have ferry connections.

Zlatni Rat on the southern coast of Brac island

One of the most beautiful beaches not only in Split, but also in Croatia is Zlatni Rat. This is a cape located 630 meters out to sea, completely covered with pine trees. Tourists like to relax here, and locals come on weekends.

Zlatni Rat is located on the southern coast of the island of Brac, near the resort of Bol. You can get here as follows::

  • Split ferry to Supetar;
  • from Supetar by bus or comfortably by taxi.

Interesting fact! Bol is the oldest resort on the island of Brac. There are hotels with excellent service here.

Another popular island near Split is Hvar, located south of the island of Brac. Swim here in numerous coves, the best are located in the south-western part of Hvar. The most famous among tourists is Milna Lagoon, where there are four shallow bays.

One and a half kilometers from the resort of Trogir is Pantan beach. Its length is 1.5 km along the Pantan River. The beach is covered with sand and pebbles, the entrance to the sea is gentle and convenient for children. People often come here for holidays with children. Buses No. 37 run from the spa town of Split to Tregor. The ticket price is 20 kuna. On the shore there is an infrastructure-sun beds with umbrellas, bars, cafes and restaurants. The eastern part of the beach is covered with pine forest.

The six-kilometer Duce Beach is a 50-minute drive from Split. There are regular bus services from the bus station, and the ticket price is 50 kuna. The entrance to the water is gentle, and on the shore there is a cafe, you can use sun beds and umbrellas.

Brac Island Ferry
