Playa del Faro is a small picturesque bay located next to the medieval lighthouse, after which it is, in fact, named. The coastline is quite narrow and not too long, so at the height of the tourist season, there is not even an apple to fall here. Despite the crowds, both the sea itself and the entire surrounding area are very clean and well-groomed. For this, El Faro is regularly awarded the Blue Flag Award.
The beach is covered with fine light yellow sand. Playa La Bajadilla is a wide sandy beach located in the central part of the coast and is the actual continuation of Playa La Venus (the border between them is determined by a long breakwater that appeared in this place about 20 years ago). The area is very clean and well maintained. It has everything for a comfortable stay – water sports equipment rental, beach equipment rental points, fresh water showers, toilets, catering establishments, souvenir shops and a children’s play area with slides. In high season, lifeguards are on duty at the beach. Nearby is the city center, several paid Parking lots and the fishing port of the same name. Los Monteros
