Johor Bahru (Malaysia) is one of the largest cities in the Asian country and the capital of the Malay state of Johor. Second only to Kuala Lumpur in terms of population, one and a half million Johor Bahru (Johor Bahru, and abbreviated JB) attracts a well-developed infrastructure and various attractions.
Located in the south of Malaysia, the city receives a huge number of visitors and transit tourists who want to get to Singapore by land. Johor Bahru is called the main gateway that opens the way across the land from the mainland to the island. And in order for land transport to pass back and forth, two bridges have been built across the Strait of Malacca: the Johor-Singapore Causeway road and the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link road. Most often, the bridge is used by Singaporeans who regularly shop or spend a weekend in JB (a colloquial expression of Johor Bahru among local residents). Here, prices are lower than in Singapore, and the choice of products is greater.
An alternative transport to Singapore or other islands in the South China Sea is a ferry that regularly departs from the seaport of the Sultanate’s capital, Johor.
Being, first of all, a transit point for those who want to get from Thailand and Malaysia to Singapore, the capital of Johor is hospitable and friendly. Not a resort, but a modern and industrially developed center of Malaysia invites you to visit various entertainment and shopping centers, explore the sights or relax on the beaches of the mainland or nearby islands.

Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque
Lovers of various historical and architectural structures will enjoy an excursion to the State Mosque, named after Sultan Abu Bakar. The temple is located on a hilltop and is the pride of the Malaysian city.
The construction of the mosque was supervised by the Sultan himself for 8 years, choosing Moorish and only a little Victorian as the main style. Next to the mosque, a building that once served as a palace for the royal couple glitters with luxury. The Royal Museum is located here, where you can see collections of gold coins, works of art, antiques, weapons and numerous valuables that once belonged to the sultan’s family. The courtyard of the palace and mosque is decorated with a Japanese garden, which delights every visitor with its picturesqueness.
