Cleopatra’s Cove

The bay was named in honor of the Egyptian queen because of the nearby rock, the shape of which resembles the profile of Cleopatra. The area is rich in relict pine trees that descend directly to the coast. Here you will not find any infrastructure: the beach is wild, although locals often arrange gatherings here. The big disadvantage of the bay is the garbage on the coast and the lack of toilets.

The beach surface is pebbly, but the entrance to the sea is gentle, and after a few meters the sea floor becomes sandy. Many tourists specially sail here on a yacht, so that Opatry looms well at the end point of the bay. On weekdays, the beach is deserted, but on weekends, Turkish families come here for a picnic, so you should not visit this area at the end of the week.

Useful tips
If you are planning to travel to Turkey in the Kemer Tekirova area, we advise you to pay attention to the following information:

- Currency. In Turkey, all resorts accept both dollars and euros. Be sure to have Turkish lira with you as well: it is profitable to use it to pay for travel and entrance fees at attractions. In tourist shops, prices are always indicated either in dollars or in euros. In regular stores and shopping centers in any city, the price tag will be expressed in Turkish liras. It is most profitable to buy local currency in the exchange offices of Antalya, a good exchange rate can be found in Kemer. You can also change your money at the hotel, but we don’t recommend it, because the overpayment will be significant.
- Theft. Although tourists themselves are more likely to steal in Turkey than Turks, there are unscrupulous people everywhere. So don’t leave your belongings unattended, especially on the beach.
- Economical shopping. Before making purchases, we recommend that you take a walk through several stores and compare prices if possible. Sometimes in Turkey, the cost of goods in street shops and bazaars is more expensive than in hotel stores. Especially indecent prices will be expected in shopping centers, where you will be taken by your guide. In any case, if you do not want to overpay, you should go around a couple of stores and ask for a price.
- Excursions. Some excursions are quite difficult to make on your own: for example, going to the unique Cappadocia or the unique Pamukkale at the expense of your own efforts would be very problematic. But the sights located near the resort, it is quite possible to visit yourself, without overpaying for the tour. In extreme cases, you can go outside and find out the prices for tours in local offices and compare them with those offered by the guide.
Conclusion
Clear sea, well-maintained beaches, spectacular scenery, interesting sights and unforgettable entertainment-all this awaits you in Tekirova, Turkey. The big advantage of this resort is its distance from the noise of the city, so if you are looking for serenity, then you already know exactly where to find it.
