In November, the average temperature in these areas is 25 degrees Celsius.
If in September-October in Europe still enough options for relaxing in the sun, then in November this task is noticeably complicated.
According to The Mirror, the number of search queries for “winter holidays in the sun” has increased by 5,000% over the past 30 days. In this regard, Heather Green, a top manager at Sovereign Luxury Travel, has shared four of the best luxury destinations for a late-season sun holiday that can be booked for November 2025.
“Winter destinations where you can bask in the sun contrast with the gray British winter, with their tropical warmth, golden beaches, and a sense of solitude that feels like a welcome break from everyday life,” Green said.
First of all, she recommends the Spanish Canary Island Tenerife, which has long been popular among tourists due to its year-round sunshine and pleasant winter temperatures of around 20-25 degrees Celsius. However, visiting this island from November to February allows you to enjoy it at a more relaxed pace without the crowds.
The expert then recommended the resort of Anse-le-Rai on the island of Mauritius in East Africa, calling it one of the most “dazzling hidden gems”. According to her, this is a great choice for those who are looking for a luxury vacation in the Indian Ocean.
“Even in winter, the temperature remains warm and inviting, around 26-27 degrees Celsius, making it an ideal destination for sunny days on white beaches and windsurfing in the calm turquoise waters,” the expert explained.
Another popular destination that Heather praised is the Maldives. It remains one of the most sought-after winter destinations in the world, with an average temperature of 27-30 degrees Celsius.
According to Green, in the Maldives, “the best way to spend your days is snorkeling among the colorful coral reefs, taking sunset cruises to watch dolphins, or relaxing with water spa treatments.”
The expert also recommended visiting the Riviera Maya in Mexico, calling it a “good choice.”
“In the Riviera Maya, the temperature stays between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius in the winter, which is perfect for spending long days on the 30 kilometers of white sand and swimming in the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea. The second-largest coral reef in the world is located near the coast, where snorkeling and diving offer a glimpse into the vibrant underwater world,” she added.
