He named three countries that he liked the most.
YouTuber-traveler Dan Grek quit his job to travel around the world. He has already visited five continents and 65 countries, including 35 countries in Africa. According to Express, he has named three countries that have most impressed him, with one of them being so good that he almost moved there permanently.
Gabon
“I will say that Gabon in West Africa is an incredible country with extremely friendly people, a huge amount of wildlife to explore and an incredible animal world,” he said.
Gabon is a sparsely populated country with dense tropical forests located on the Atlantic coast in the Central African subregion, also known as the “Last Paradise of Africa”.
Chimpanzees, gorillas, and even elephants can be found in the wild here. The average annual temperature in Gabon is around 26°C, with a slightly higher temperature of 27°C in January. The best time to visit is during the dry season from May to September.
Iceland
“Iceland has by far the most stunning scenery I’ve ever seen,” Dan shared.
Known as the “Land of Fire and Ice”, this Iceland is famous for its incredibly beautiful volcanic landscapes, waterfalls and geothermal activity. Tourists can try to see the northern Lights, visit the capital Reykjavik, as well as visit the South Coast, the Snaifellsnes Peninsula, the Eastern Fjords and the Skogafoss Waterfall.
The average annual temperature in Iceland ranges from a cool -1°C in winter to 11°C in summer.
Argentina
Dan admitted that he liked this country so much that he “seriously thought about getting a residence permit.”
This is a South American country with diverse landscapes, where a subtropical climate prevails. It is also famous for tango, the majestic Iguazu falls. Other attractions in this vast country include the capital city of Buenos Aires, the province of Misiones, the Ibera marshes (where you can even see capybaras) and the beautiful Patagonian landscape.
The average annual temperature varies depending on the region, but if you plan to visit Buenos Aires, you can expect an average daily temperature of around 18°C.
