Safari Park (Bangkok) is one of the few places in Thailand where you can feed giraffes bananas, watch lions and tigers at arm’s length, admire hundreds of rare birds and learn the habits of crocodiles.
The safari park in Bangkok, covering an area of more than 70 hectares, is located in the eastern part of the city. It was opened in 1988, and has been very popular with Asian tourists and locals ever since. On the map, the safari park, located in the suburbs of Bangkok, is referred to as Safari World, which means “safari world”.
In the park, animals live in conditions that are as similar as possible to their natural habitats: there are no cages or high fences. Guests of the zoo have a unique opportunity to observe the life of colorful birds and mysterious marine life, dangerous predators. Detailed information about the habits and lifestyles of various animals can be found at the stands located in the safari park in Bangkok.

What to see in the park:
The huge territory of the safari park is divided into two parts: Marine Park and Safari Park.
Safari Park
This is the most visited and interesting part of the park. Herbivores and predators live here (they are separated from each other by a grid). In addition to the traditional Asian animals, you can see lions, zebras, bears, giraffes, leopards, elephants, rhinos and pandas. The territory of the park is so huge that you can’t walk here – you can only get around by car or bus.

A standard tour of this part of the park lasts 45-50 minutes. During a trip through the territory where predators live, it is forbidden even to open the car doors and windows a little, and, moreover, to get out. Animals behave quite aggressively, and to avoid a tragedy, even safari park employees feed them with a special cage. If you are lucky, tourists can also see the feeding process.

Special attention should be paid to the birds, which are incredibly numerous here: white and black swans, bright peacocks, pink flamingos, large parrots and ostriches. They are practically not afraid of people, and often fly up or approach tourists.
In a separate area with waterfalls and lakes, you can see hippos and crocodiles, which are fenced with a net.
Marina Park
Marina Park is more like a classic zoo: animals are kept in aviaries, there are areas for feeding herbivores. Unlike the safari park, the water park is located in the jungle, and tourists can visit bamboo thickets, look at banana palms and admire wild orchids.
On the territory of the safari zoo in Bangkok, separate pens have been created for feeding different animals: fallow deer, deer and giraffes. The latter is located in a lowland, so that guests of the park can easily reach herbivorous animals.

Marina park also has an aqua zone where you can watch dolphins, various fish and fur seals. Ducks and swans swim in one of the lakes.

It will also be interesting to visit the World of Eggs exhibition, where you can witness the birth and birth of a new life. For children, there are interactive corners where you can find out what different birds ‘ eggs look like inside.

Since Marina Park is primarily aimed at children’s audiences, there is a children’s playground with many attractions and animators. Attracts tourists and River Safari-an attraction that allows you to go by boat to the jungle with wild animals (of course, not real).
