The beaches of Ibiza are known all over the world as ideal places for party lovers and just active young people. There are indeed dozens of night clubs and cafes on the island, but a lot of entertainment is not the only plus that awaits tourists.
In total, there are about 50 beaches in Ibiza, which have the following characteristics: soft golden sand, azure sea and all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable stay. As a rule, tourists come to the island in order to have a good time, but this is not the only reason – many people want to see the local nature and go in for sports.
Below you will find a detailed description and photos of the best beaches in Ibiza.
Kala Komte
Cala Comte is one of the most popular wild beaches on the island. Located in the western part of Ibiza, in the San Antonio area. Length-800 meters, width-75. Despite the lack of infrastructure, there are incredibly many tourists here, and if you arrive later than 10 am, you will hardly be able to find a free place.
The beach itself is sandy, located on a small hill. Access to the water is possible by going down from the stone steps. The sand is fine and golden, the sea is very clear and the bottom is clearly visible.
In the eastern part of Cala Comte there are rocks and a mountain, in the western part there are several cafes and a restaurant. There are no sun loungers, umbrellas or changing booths. But there is plenty of entertainment – you can rent a yacht, go by speedboat to neighboring islands, find a photographer who will arrange a photo session, and also take a walk in the surrounding mountains.
Positive:
- no garbage collection;
- beautiful nature;
- a variety of entertainment options.
Minuses:
- a large number of people.
Kala Saladeta
Cala Saladeta is a small cozy beach near the resort of the same name, located in the north-western part of the island. Its length is about 700 meters, width-no more than 65. Many tourists call the beach “home ” because it is very easy to reach and a relatively small number of people know about its existence.
The sand on the beach is fine and yellow, the entrance to the sea is gentle. Rocks, algae, and debris are completely absent. Cala Saladeta is surrounded on all sides by low stone cliffs, so it rarely gets a strong wind.
The infrastructure is poorly developed – there are only a few umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, there is one bar and there are toilets. Tourists should keep in mind that there are few places to relax, so you should come to Cala Saladeta no later than at 9 am.
Positive:
- small number of vacationers;
- scenic views;
- no wind.
Minuses:
- few places to relax;
- poorly developed infrastructure.
Playa cala Salada

The length of Playa Salada is 500 meters, width-no more than 45. The beach is surrounded on all sides by picturesque cliffs with low pine trees and tropical flowers.
The infrastructure is not developed – there are no umbrellas and sun beds, there are no toilets or changing rooms. If you climb the cliffs, you can find a small bar with low prices.

The length of the beach is small – only 500 meters, and the width is about 150. The sand here is fine and golden, the water is crystal clear. There is no debris, rocks or seaweed on the beach. Cala Beniras is located in a bay, and is surrounded on all sides by high cliffs that protect it from the wind even in the worst weather.

Cala Bassa Beach is one of the most crowded beaches in Ibiza, located near the city of San Antonio Abad in the western part of the island. There are always a lot of people here, and, accordingly, there is also enough garbage. The infrastructure is well developed (cafes, toilets, sun beds), but because of this, the place is gradually losing its flavor.
The sand on the beach is fine, with a brown tint. Sometimes there are small stones. The entrance to the sea is gentle, but there are high cliffs on the outskirts of Cala Bassa. If you go deep into the beach, you can find several recreation areas in the pine forest, which is located behind Cala Bassa.
Positive:
- well-developed infrastructure;
- there are recreation areas in the nearby pine forest.
Minuses:
- a lot of people;
- garbage.
Cala Llonga
Cala Llonga is one of the most famous beaches in the eastern part of the island. It is located on the shore of the Bay of the same name. Its length is about 700 meters, and its width is just over 200 meters. There are a lot of people in this area, because Ibiza is not far away. Also, right on the shore of Cala Llonga, there are a lot of hotels where families with children prefer to relax.
The sand on the beach is soft and pale yellow, the entrance to the sea is gentle. By the way, this is one of the few holiday areas in Ibiza where there are no rocks and rocks – it seems that I got to the continental part of Spain.
This is probably the best equipped beach in Ibiza. There are several hotels nearby, dozens of cafes, and a restaurant. On the Cala Llonga itself, there are sun loungers and umbrellas, toilets and changing booths. Entertainment is enough: you can rent a boat for an excursion to a neighboring island; ride inflatable ” bananas”; take a hike in the mountains.
Positive:
- developed infrastructure;
- large number of hotels nearby;
- lots of entertainment;
- clear;
- no rocks.
Minuses:

Es Canar
Es Canar is a beach in the eastern part of the island. It is located on the territory of the resort of the same name, so it is extremely difficult to call it sparsely populated. The beach is 1 km long and 80 meters wide.
The sand on Es Canar is fine, the entrance to the water is smooth. Rocks and algae are absent. Garbage is sometimes found, but it is regularly cleaned. Es Canar has a well-developed infrastructure: there are cafes, shops and bars. Beach facilities include sun loungers and umbrellas. Generally, the entrance to the water is smooth, but in some parts of the beach, rocks and rocks “climb out” of the water. The sand on Ces Salines is fine and soft, with a brown tint. The beach is quite clean, but due to the large number of tourists, there is still garbage.

Cavallet is often called one of the most popular nude beaches in Ibiza, but this is not entirely true – before there were really many people who preferred to relax naked, but now this is extremely rare.
The entrance to the sea is gentle, but very often algae swim up to the shore, because of which many tourists compare the seashore with a swamp. The sand on Cavallet is fine and golden, there are no stones or shells. The water has an azure hue. The beach is more than 2 km long and about 100 meters wide.
